Friday the 13th (1980)

Ethan:

This isn't an awful movie and it has a few pretty good parts. one interesting note is that the main killer in this movie actually isn't Jason which i didn't know about when first watching it. the movie is pretty decent up until the last 30 minutes when i was getting extremely frustrated at the last girl left. shes runs around and knocks out the villain probably 4-5 times and everytime just runs away only to let the villain revover and come after her again. this was hard to watch and i found myself yelling at the screen to just kill her already. the last scene while shes on the boat is pretty jumpy and a good touch to end a drawn out movie that could of been over 45 minutes earlier.

Inglorious Bastards

Ethan:

This movie was alright. the biggest problem i had with it was how slow some of the scenes in the movie were. this was a 2 hr and 30 min movie and there was around 1 hr of it were there seemed like nothing was going on. there was great comic relief is Brad Pitt's character and his American view of just wanting to kill Nazi's. the story is a fictional view of World War 2 if some different things would of happened. entertaining at times, and kinda funny at the same time.

Jeepers Creepers

Ethan:

Not an awful movie with some interesting parts. the idea was a bit more original than other horror movies that have come out post 2000. its about this guy named the creeper who comes out every 23rd spring for 23 days. the guy have to eat peoples body parts so that he can strengthen his own. probably the best part was that instead of the whole "happy ending, kill the bad guy" deal at the end of most movies this one has a bit more of an exciting ending in my opinion. "...jeepers, creepers...whered you get them peepers..."

Up In The Air

Bryan Howe:

Im going to be completely honest. This was the most depressing movie I have ever watched in my lifetime. Now for some, you might think that this statement is a big one, but if you ever see this movie, you will agree 100 percent with me. Staring George Clooney, the film is about a man who literally spends his life at the airport. His job is to go to different cities across America and fire people from their jobs. The only possible way I would suggest this movie to someone is if that person if WAY to happy and needs to come done to earth for a while. Other than that, i really have no idea why I would promote this.

Saving Private Ryan

Ethan:

Strong story that keeps the viewer entertained throughout and has the ability to think that anything could break out at any time. from the opening scene on the beaches of D-Day to the final fight the movie is action packed and seems to give an accurate depiction of World War II. Tom Hanks gives a great performance as well as the supposrting cast to give this movie a great feel and seem like the events are actually happening.
